Community Leadership

Gallatin Community Collaboration

Finding common purpose.

The Community Foundation served as fiscal sponsor for the Gallatin Community Collaborative from 2013 to 2016, providing fiscal oversight and management for the Collaborative, managing contributions to support the Collaborative operations and overseeing financial transactions and contractual arrangements. The goal of the Collaborative is to develop a long-term, permanent resolution of the management of the 155,000-acre Hyalite-Porcupine-Buffalo Horn Wilderness Study Area by engaging the public in a process that incorporates the perspectives of a full breadth of stakeholders.
