Free Estate Planning Event with Local Attorney Steve Woodruff

On Tuesday, October 13 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. PCCF is hosting a free virtual event titled “Practical Estate Planning” with local estate attorney Stephen Woodruff, Esq.

Attendees to this free online event will learn about the basics of estate planning and how to begin planning what happens to your money, property, and personal affairs after your passing.

From probate to estate tax to powers of attorney and Medicaid, estate planning can quickly become too much to navigate without a trained guide. For something so personal and impactful to you and your loved ones, you deserve to understand what it all means and how to properly express your final wishes.

Organized by PCCF, this virtual event will cover wills, trusts, bequests, beneficiary choices, health care instructions, and arrangements for children or adults who may need help managing their affairs. The event will also discuss estate and gift taxes, long-term care costs, Medicaid planning, and ways to protect your assets. A short Q&A will follow the presentation.

Stephen Woodruff, Esq. is a Livingston-based attorney that practices law in real estate, business, trusts and estates, probate, personal injury, agriculture, and civil litigation. He graduated from University of Montana Law School in 1999 and has been practicing law in Park County for over 20 years.
