The Community Foundation proudly supports nonprofit organizations serving Park County communities. The Community Foundation has issued over $2,000,000 in grants between 2007 and 2025, providing support for community projects or general operating costs for local nonprofits and public entities. This funding supports a wide range of charitable activities including the arts, health and human services, education and much more. Funded proposals benefit the residents of Park County.

The Community Foundation provides support for community projects or general operating costs for local nonprofits and public entities. This funding supports a wide range of charitable activities including the arts, health and human services, education and much more. Funded proposals directly benefit the residents of Park County and are closely aligned with the We Will Community Priority Areas.

What We Look For
Funding decisions are based on the following priorities:
Alignment with the community issues highlighted in the We Will Park County visioning process.
Clarity about how the program will impact Park County, both in terms of how many residents will be served and which communities within Park County will most benefit from the programming.
Demonstrated support from funding sources in addition to PCCF grant funds.
Priority will be given to organizations based in Park County.
Please note that the Community Foundation is not currently offering any multi-year funding opportunities.
Key Dates
For the 2026 Community Grants Cycle, we will begin with a Letter of Interest (LOI), after which a select group of organizations will be invited to submit a full application. Here are the key dates:
Friday, November 7th: Letter of Interest and Slide Deck available online, see below.
Friday, December 19th, 11:59pm: Deadline for submitting your Letter of Interest.
Friday, January 30th: Final Reports for 2025 We Will grant cycle due
Monday, February 9th: Selected organizations will be invited to submit a full grant application.
Monday, March 23rd: Grant applications due
Early May (TBD): Funding decisions announced and grant checks mailed.
Eligibility Guidelines
In order to be eligible for funding from the Park County Community Foundation, your organization must:
Be a 501(c)(3) organization, have a fiscal sponsor that is a 501(c)(3) organization, or be a public entity located in Park County or with projects and programs in Park County, Montana.
Programming must be for the benefit of residents of Park County or of Mammoth, WY.
Each organization is limited to submitting a single Letter of Interest.
Organizations who have received previous funding Park County Community Foundation are current on all final grant reports.
