Nominations Open for PCCF's Annual Philanthropy Award

Westerly Award Sculpture by George Bumann

The Westerly Award The Park County Community Foundation invites all Park County 501(c)3 organizations to nominate one individual (or couple) whose exemplary commitment to Park County nonprofits makes them eligible to receive “The Westerly Award.”

The Westerly Award is a Park County Community Foundation Award that celebrates philanthropy and the spirit of generosity in Park County. Community-inspired and community-led, The Westerly Award – named for the westerly winds – speaks to the spreading of goodwill, positive change, and generosity across distances, much like the westerly winds shape weather patterns and influence the climate across our region.

Each year, The Westerly Award recognizes a Park County philanthropist with a distinguished record of generosity and service to the local nonprofits who help keep our community livable and loveable.

In its inaugural year of 2025, philanthropist Don Gimbel was selected.

The 2026 recipient will be honored at the annual Paradise Ramble event on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS MARCH 27, 2026.
