The inaugural version of the Give-A-Hoot community giving challenge delivered more than $1 million dollars of donations to Park County nonprofits. In many cases, organizations noticed that these donations came from donors who were new names in the database. At this workshop, we will talk about how to nurture those new donors in ways that might inspire them to become long-term supporters of your organization. We will also review "best practices" for year-end giving campaigns, taking into account the tremendous mid-summer generosity we saw from Park County donors -- both new and established.
