Announcing Community Closet’s Easter Sunday Bonnet & Ballcap Parade.
Make this Easter fun and festive by joining Community Closet’s Easter Bonnet and Ballcap Parade and Contest on Sunday, April 21 from 2-4 pm at the Community Closet, 416 East Park Street in Livingston. The contest judging will be at 3 pm with prizes for winners of each category.
The contest categories are: 1) Best Easter-Themed hat 2) Best Bedazzled/Decorated hat 3) Best Upcycle/reused materials hat 4) Biggest Bonnet 5) Best Easter-themed Dressed Pet. Please have any pets on leashes, haltered or kenneled as appropriate for breed. The parade will be outdoors so easy-going horses welcome, please pick up after your pet.
Community Closet has a stash of hats and supplies ready and waiting to assist in decorated and upcycled hats and outfits. All are welcome to participate whether you craft a festive bonnet, revive a vintage hat, or just put on a favorite cap.
Come rain or shine, come parade your best Easter bonnet or ballcap and even your pet, and enjoy refreshments and Easter fun!
