Plein Air on the Yellowstone Gala: Livingston Center for Art and Culture
This gala evening is the culmination of an annual 5 day paint out. 25 artists from all over the region have come to park county and paint en plein air. The artists bring their "wet" paintings to the Center to be compete for cash prizes and have their recent work hung in the gallery for a month long exhibit. All the paintings are for sale at VERY reasonable prices and 35% of the proceeds go towards supporting the Livingston Center for Art and Culture's mission. National and local corporate sponsors, as well as private donors make this event happen year after year. The gala evening is the kick off for the month long exhibit and all art is for sale through the Livingston Center for Art and Culture. We will also be sponsoring the WSE's farmers market on the 8th and providing a free children craft.
