Indicator Project Overview:


In August of 2009, the PCCF began work on the Indicator Project.  We worked with Park County non-profits, government organizations and other key stakeholders to establish a data tool which measures and evaluates key needs and assets of our community.  This tool is called The Park County Compass.

Our work continues with collaboration among Park County organizations to address needs and identify community action plans based on these indicators.  You can access the indicators by category (below) or see a list of all indicators.

Indicator Project Mission: 

  • Identify and establish measurements on issues that are some of the key indicators of quality of life/community vitality in Park County
  • Promote the use of this data to inspire dialogue and strategy that leads to positive change within the community

Indicator Project Outcomes: 

  • Provide information to assist with community focus, planning and decision making
  • Maximize resources & opportunities throughout the community
  • Increase collaboration among community members, organizations and agencies
  • Provide an ongoing evaluation tool to help monitor progress and identify needed action
