Why Is This Important?

 

Immunization rates are indicators of whether children in communities are receiving adequate preventive health care.

Percentage of children in Montana and the U.S.  who have 4:3:1:3:3:1 Series Coverage*:

 

               

 

 *4:3:1:3:3:1 vaccine series Includes:

  • Four diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (whooping cough) (DTaP)
  • Three inactivated polio (IPV)
  • One measles-mumps-rubella (MMR)
  • Three Haemophilus influenzae Type b (Hib)
  • Three Hepatitis B (HepB)
  • One Varicella (chickenpox)
