Community Collaboration


The PCCF provides facilitation and coordination services for Park County community organizations, and acts as a communication “hub” for activities that help improve the vitality of Park County.

Collaboration Goals:
 

  • Utilize collaboration to unify the nonprofit service Economic Summit Participantsproviders & other community organizations of Park County to focus attention, action and services toward improving the vitality of our community. 
  • Encourage the use of data, research and analysis to improve our decision making, performance and the prioritizing of need in the community.
  • Through collaboration and facilitation, increase the effectiveness and capacity of the nonprofit service providers of Park County.

Capacity Building & Resource Development 

 
The PCCF works with the local nonprofits building capacities to raise funds and develop resources—within and beyond the community—through training, workshops, and one-on-one technical assistance.

2010 activites include:

  • Economic Summit -  The PCCF hosted an Park County Economic Summit with 33 local business leaders.  Read more.
  • School Bond Facilitation - The PCCF acted as the communication hub and information source for the Park High School Bond initiative.  

2009 activities included:

  • Capital Campaigns:  "Lets get together" Workshop
  • Data and Measurements WorkshopBest Practices - "Using websites to gather and share volunteers and statistics"
  • WorkshopStrategic Planning Workshop
  • Basic Needs Summit—a gathering of emergency food, shelter and healthcare providers to ensure a seamless network

 2008 activities included:

  • Board Development Workshop  
  • Grantwriting Workshop  
  • Not Your Mother's Workshop on Boards: The Role of the Executive Director

  • A Revenue Strategy for Sustainability
